Asset Management Engineer

Ashleigh is an Asset Management Engineer, supporting the planning, performance, and optimisation of the Far North’s roading network. Her work focuses on asset management, network analysis, GIS mapping, data modelling, and developing practical tools that support maintenance and investment decisions.

With a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering and almost ten years of experience across engineering, operational planning, risk management, and asset management, Ashleigh brings a strong analytical approach to solving complex challenges. Before moving to New Zealand, she held a variety of technical and leadership roles within the mining industry, gaining extensive experience in planning, scheduling, performance monitoring, and operational decision-making.

Ashleigh enjoys working with large and complex datasets to identify trends, improve planning, and develop practical solutions that deliver long-term value for communities. She has a particular interest in asset management, data visualisation, spatial analysis, and using technology to support smarter infrastructure management.

Originally from South Africa, Ashleigh relocated to New Zealand with her family and is proud to now call Northland home.
